Just a quick update…
Basically all is good here. The forehead thing is fine. The key was that I needed the spot to get all red and icky to show that the cream was working and it is indeed doing that. Good news!!
I have been doing a lot of dry fire practice and I have been reading a ton to make up for lack of actual training. I also started a glute program. My backside needs a little(or a lot) work. I have a ways to go, but I can see changes and I feel stronger.
The guy I was doing self defense training with flaked on me, so I have been looking for a quality replacement. Has not been easy, but I think I might have found a place. Excited to at least have an opportunity.
Mostly have just been busy with EMT and the kids. I do have a couple of posts I am working on, so hopefully I will find he time to sit down and finish those.
Hope you are all well!!!
Glad to hear you and the family and doing well. Best wishes !
Appreciate the good thoughts!
Great to hear you are continuing your evolution, and the forehead thingy is losing it’s battle.

Ahh, losing it’s battle…YES!!
I can’t help you with the self defense trainer unless you happen to be in the Dallas area. Even then, my references would be severely out of date. Congrats on the forehead thingy progress. As to the glute program, I’m going to go out on a limb here and say we can properly encourage you without before and after photos. IN appropriate attire of course.
lol, I will post before and after pics, but lets wait for the after to get a little more after:)
You might look into TFT . They travel the US. They have great dvds and books, sometimes running specials. Their stuff is no holds bared , how to destroy an attacker. At the bottom of the page is a free video you can check out They are a little pricey .Oh yes, almost forgot…http://www.targetfocustraining.com/
You can also check out these guys, a long term thing as it has monthly dues but sometimes they have a video you can get at…http://realfightsrealdefense.com/
And highly recommended by Massad Ayoob is Battlefield Pankration, by Jim Arvanitis book and videos available at…http://www.paladin-press.com/
As for knife fighting, I’d recommend anything by Michael Janich, also available at Paladin Press. He’s been on The Best Defense On the Outdoor channel for years. Wed nites and now fri nites too.
Ayoob has mentioned another knife guy and I’ll ask him for his name when I see Mas in June.
I hope this info helps in some way.
From a book or video you’ll have to train with a friend or your husband. All this material comes with a warning not to go full force, its that dangerous. Poor marine.

Had to, I don’t know when I’d be able to say that again.

You have a big red icky spot on your forehead?
